Miss Paris Diet Center (hereafter referred to as “the service”) respects the privacy of customers who use the service (hereafter referred to as “the customer”) and pays scrupulous attention to the management of customer information that is provided (hereafter referred to as “personal information”).
Personal information refers to information about an individual that can be used to identify that individual.
However, information developed by statistically processing personal information is not information that can identify individual users, so it is not included in the scope of personal information.
The service collects personal information from customers in the following situations.
Except in cases where it is permitted by law, the service will not use or disclose personal information for anything other than the purposes stated in the previous item. In the event that we use or disclose personal information for anything other than the above-stated purposes, we will do so only after obtaining the consent of the customer.
The service will tightly control personal information under the supervision of a staff member responsible for managing personal information, in a safe environment that is inaccessible to ordinary customers. Except in the following cases, we will not disclose or divulge personal information to a third party without the prior consent of the customer.
The service may consign the data processing of personal information to an outside company with whom it has signed a nondisclosure agreement.
In the event that a customer wants to request the disclosure, amendment, or removal of personal information that the customer has registered with the service, he or she should call the Personal Information Management Division’s Customer Counseling Office listed below (03-3568-2532).
We will handle such requests in accordance with the prescribed procedure.
Please keep in mind that in the event that you voluntarily disclose personal information over the Internet, that information may be collected and utilized by other users. If you disclose personal information on the Internet, which is accessible to anyone, you may receive unwanted messages based on the information that is displayed. Users are asked to use their own discretion when publicizing information.
We may add up and study the number of times users access the service’s top page. These aggregate results will not be disclosed to any outside party. The study of user numbers is solely for the benefit of future policies, and no other information is obtained except for aggregate numbers by way of statistical processing. This is not a study with the purpose of gathering private information such as names, addresses, or such. It is merely something done in order to make the service easier to use and more rewarding, so we ask for your understanding.
